Digest Number 1508

Hi:

I had three Airstream Trailers ( 25'-30' and the final one 34'). A great and simple life style.
I love my 2003 Intrique Fist Avenue but life is much more complicated. Where and when to have it serviced, etc.
Tires....everyone I ask has a different answer. So, I put 120 psi in the two front tires and 110 psi in the each of the four rear. My smart tire is working fine.

What do you think?
Bob

Bob,

We do exactly what you do on tires and everything works fine. 120 in front, 110 on all rears including tag. We have done this thru 3 coaches and have never had a tire problem. This also relates well to our weight which we get checked once a year at FMCA rallies. We also have had Smart Tire on our coach when we had an 01 and on our coach and tow car on this 05. Back in 96 the ownner of Safari told us to use 70psi in our tires for the ride. We thought he was crazy but the ride was good. You know what happened to Safari, we never used the 70 psi that was suggested. Take care of your tires and they will take care of you.
