Anyone carry chains in the Siskiyous this time of year?

We're headed back to WA from AZ in the next few days and I notice its been snowing in the Siskiyous again. I know the Oregon Chain laws require vehicles over 10000lbs to carry chains. Do you? Coming down in January we came down 101 to avoid the Siskiyous but we're kind of in a hurry to get back.
