Driving new Intigue 06 in Perry Ga. was a treat. CC has increased the weight to get that "Bus Ride" many us want. I also drove a 38' Blue Bird that weight about the same as the 42' Intrigue. Both have that heavy, smooth ride. I was impressed with the guality of new 06' Intrigue but my wife noted storage is reduced so you will need the 42' to get the same storage as the older 40' Intrigue. Country Coach has to do the 4 slide but I am not sure how important that will be to buyers. For us, we were looking in Perry for what coach we want next. Right now we are very please with our 01' Intigue.
It is the Best! for us.

My conculions, heavy rides best and CC has the best combinations or balance of workmanship, service, quality, interior design and chassis componets.

PS, we pulled out through mud in 3rd gear with no problems, most thank full to be on "Solid Ground".

Did you look at the Newmar Exxex and the Travel Supreme top of the line units? We looked at everything at Perry and was curious what others thought of those units. I think CC builds a good product, but from my perspective, their cost is getting ridiculous. For the retail price of an Intrigue through the Afffinity, one can buy one, or possibly multiple vacation homes that will appreciate in value.

Gene,

We didn't get to the Newmar or Travel Supreme. What chassis are they built on is the big question for me. My wife LOVES Monaco's.
She feels their interior design have the woman in mind.

CC price may be going up but each year. Ours was #339 in 01' and the 06' is just under $500K. I would rather have the house too, so we just wait until the price come down in a couple of years. Those summer vacation home are down the road when we to old to hit the road.
