RV Values

Ron: Thanks for asking. I spent the last 20 years of my working life in the used car industry. (Please don't tell my Mother, she thinks I played a piano in a House of Ill Repute)
We primarily sold late model used, still under factory warranty. We almost always had two or three RV units mixed in since I've always been an RV owner. We certainly didn't specialize in motor homes.
One of the most difficult things about handling used motor homes in the tremendous reconditioning required to get the buggers ready to sell.
As motor home owners we all know how much is required to keep in them tippi-top shape. Imagine buying one wholesale at an auction that has been traded or repossessed.
Sometimes we would spend so much in reconditioning and customer service after the sale that we lost money.
When I sold the business, the new owners (employees) vowed to never handle another motor home.
I'm convinced that Country Coach builds one of the best in the industry. Just try working on a Fleetwood or Indiana built coach and you will immediately see the difference.
IMHO, notwithstanding NADA, Country Coach will always retain it's resale value better and be a preferred product because of the quality. Depreciation tables don't tell you that, the customers and owners do.
