Help, please

Last week had to have the plastic dip stick tube on my 2001 Intrigue replaced for the third time as it got too close to the manifold. Got home and then remembered that it had recently been replaced with a new dip stick due to a short length that was causing excessive oil to be added to the resivour.
Back to the shop and of course this was the one day that everyone was efficient and the old one had been thrown in the trash and the trash had been picked up. So. . . . . .result is I have a new dip stick but do not know if it is the proper length. Has asked for help from Junction City to get the length of the proper one, but with the loss of many mech's guess they are a bit busy.

Is there anyone out there with a 2001 Intrigue and Cummins engine that has had the dip stick tube modification completed, that could measure the inches in length from the start of the wire at the bottom of the yellow handle to the tip of the dip stick?? and then let me know what the measurement in inches is. That way I will have some idea of where the full tick ought to be on my dip stick. Regards to all.
