Front Door Question

Greetings!

It hasn't happened to me (yet) but it is only a matter of time until I open my door with a brisk tail wind blowing - - yanking the door away from me and against the... hinge?

Unlike my prior mid-door class A whose door would simply crash against the sidewall, what prevents the hinge on a 90 degree door from being sprung in a rapid opening situation? How much abuse can one of these hinge sets suffer before calling it quits?
Do any models have some sort of protection against this? Has anyone installed an after market product to protect the hinge/door?

It just seems awfully vulnerable to me.
