Call me dumb...

Yahoo Message Number: 17783
I recently traded our 97 Intrigue for an 01 double slide Magna. I have been trying to fix a tachometer problem and finally decided to open the engine access in the bedroom. So how is that done? Do I have to remove the bed frame to get full access to the cover, or am I missing something? Thanks... this is a great owners group!

Our 2002 Allure double slide has a step with the closet door on top of it adjacent to the bed. Move the slide out first. Then look a few inches in from the step on the bed side and a few inches in from the end there is a hidden door. The carpet is stuck down to it, but if you look you eventually find it. Once you pull it up or pry it up the first time, it gets easier the next time. Part of the door is under the closet door. It needs to be pulled up and away. Once it is removed, there is another door to unscrew. You can then see the engine and pacbrake. Good luck! John 2002 Allure 36 double slide
