Dash/Room Switch Question

This may be a dumb question but I do not seem to understand the the function of the Dash/Room switch for the speakers in the front and bedroom. When it is set to the dash mine works in both the front and back and when it is room it is only in the back. Is this correct?

Yes, this is correct. The rear speakers on our Intrigue are wired directly to the dash stereo. The front left and right speakers (not center speaker) are wired via a switch to either the home entertainment system or the dash stereo. The Dash/Room switch only switches the front speakers between the dash or home entertainment system. I'm not happy with it but that's the way it is.
