Step Cover Failure FIXED

Thanks one and all. Especially Everett! My son and I spent a couple of hours working on the step cover and took the metal plate off to make sure all was well there, too. The problem was the set screw on the pinion gear. We were able to access and repair thru the compartment door directly below the driver's seat. We are glad we are members of this forum to get the advice and blessed to have a son with the mechanical skills and willingness to help repair the problem.
