Help with 1999 Intrigue controls please

Yahoo Message Number: 18619
Hi All,

I have just flown from Oregon to Chicago and purchased a 1999 40' Intrigue. We have previously owned a 1993 Affinity for the past 8 years, so, I figured there would not be any learning curve on driving back. Wrong!

On the newer Intrigue I have only half the switches and controls of the previous coach, and most of the ones on the panel by the driver's left arm have symbols that I am having to guess the function of.
In looking through all the manuals that are like new, I couldn't find any page with drivers controls shown and explained. So we called Country Coach and were told by the service department, that at that time (1999)the controls were not laid out in any of the paperwork, amazing!!

On the Affinity I had a switch labeled ICC for flashing the lights as a courtesy to other drivers, I can't figure out which one does the same thing here. Also the one with a red battery on it I presume is for using the house battery for assisting a dead chassis battery, not pre-heating the engine in cold weather. I see on the generator just a start/stop switch, do you also push the stop to pre-heat?

Any help will be really appreciated.

The switch with the battery on it is for the boost from the house batteries, I believe the switch in the middle of the row furthest to the fron is the ICC blinker lights and yes on the generator the stop switch is also the pre-heat switch.

1. One of the Green rocker switches has the symbol of a light on it. It is spirng loaded switch. That is the ICC.
2. The one with the battery sysbol connects the House batteries to the engine system.
3. To preheat the generator hold the stop side of the start/stop
switch in for about 15 seconds for preheat.

I had the same problems myself.

I can't see any affect of the idle adjust switch.
