Sun shade

A very Merry Christmas to all the group.
Can anyone please tell me how to attach a sun shade to the front of a Zip Dee main awning?

I hate to tell anyone in the frozen north this, but we are in Yuma and having a problem with being unable to sit on the patio for the angle of the sun being too hot. The awning roller is fabric covered unlike other brands, where the sun shade fits in a groove in the roller.

I bought a sunscreen in Texas and attached it to my awning by screwing snaps into the roller on the awning in the same place as the buttons are on the sunscreen! I will be back in AZ on Jan 5th and can take a picture and send it to you? I did order the sunscreen wit the buttons already attached! My direct e-mail address is niezing@... Let me know............
