Cleaning Battery Terminals

While checking the chassis battery water today I noticed that the postive terminal is developing some corrosion (crystalline). Any suggestions on the best way to clean this before it gets out of hand.

Neutralize acid with baking soda
Wash with soap and brush

when dry seal with battery terminal sealer (avail at fine auto supply stores everywhere)
Just part of life on the road..... doesn't get any better than this!

Just cleaned my Ford Explorers battery terminals with a 3-4 tablespoons of Backing Soda mixed with 2 cups of warm water in a plastic container. Just keep blotting on and wipping away what you can. Best if you can dip the terminal in the container then it really disolve that stuff. Then cover with grease or better Battery terminal grease.
