Florescent Lights Not Working

I am having a problem with the 3 florescent light system in my kitchen. They do even attempt to light. Here is what I have done to date. I first replaced all (six) of the F15T8 light bulbs. This did not help. Then I started checking voltages. I have at least 13.6 volts DC to each of the lights. There is a circuit board in each of the light fixtures. These circuit boards are pop riveted in place so I am not able to signal trace voltages. I can tell you that I have compared voltages with other lights that are workingin the coach. The problem seems to be with the transformers. I have equal voltages going into the transformers, but the outputs are low on these light fixtures compared to a light fixture that is working. I am having difficulty believing all three would go bad in this location at the same time and all of the other similar light fixtures work normally. Has anyone had a similar experience with florescent lights or know something that I have overlooked?

Hi David,

I had similiar problems - new bulbs didn't help, I can't say for sure but maybe cleaning the tangs that the bulb pins mate with helped.
I was ready to replace the fixtures also. I would have removed the fixture first and tried it on the bench to be sure. There has been old posts about grounding. I did dis- and re-connect the wiring to the fixture. Voltage may read Ok but not sufficient current? Fred Kovol

Thanks for the reply Fred. I checked the contacts. They were good, no corrosion or dirt. I was about to call CC Tech help to see if they had a solution.

Now for an update. I went to turn on the lights over the dinnete and flipped the switch for the kitchen lights by accident.
Mysteriously, the kitchen lights came on. I have no explanation for them lighting. I did nothing but flip the switch as I had done many times previously. I am one who would like to have found a problem and fix it, but for now I will live with the situation. I have cycled the light switch several times now and they continue to function as normal.
