Ceiling in Intrigue

My living room slide has left an outline on the ceiling material from when the slideout was closed.
The slide is out all the time except when we actually travel. Its a dark line on the ceiling that perfectly profiles the slide out.

Any ideas what this may be or mean?

Mine (2002 Intrigue, Suite of Dreams) leaves a dent in the carpet when closed. Dealer says "they all do"..... Sounds like an difficult adjustment problem for both of us.
