insight into the burglaries

Yahoo Message Number: 21625
I have read a number of cases where people have been broken into their motorhomes by the cockpit window. Mine is only a 12" x 12" window how are they getting in here? do they stick a rod over to the door and unlock the lock if so why don't people use the deadbolt?

just curious and want to help prevent future intruders

PS: there was a problem with removing the barrel chair from a motorhome, I removed mine through the door and also replace the couch by the door . Just removed the bracket on the door so it would open further.

Re: [Country-Coach-Owners] insight into the burglariesReaching in with a rod would be the only way they could get into ours since that window is so small. I would imagine other years and brands of RV's have larger windows. I know our SOB did.
As for entry doors, this coach has a nice wide one, but in our SOB, it was so narrow hardly anything would go through it. But it had huge windows which came in handy moving things in and out.
