Just wondering how many of you have had ZERO problems that were attributable to QC @ manufacturing time?

You are kidding, right ???

If not, you should consider buying a table saw instead.

Well, maybe not ... my last table saw was not perfect either.

Jake

You must be kidding, the last time I looked I had a motor home. In fact I have had 6 and it does not matter what brand or how much you pay, you will have problems. It's just like buying a house except there is an earthquake every day. Our current house had a 4 page punch list, wish I could do a motorcoach purchase the same way, but we all keep coming back for our next coach. After all we could have purchased a boat which is worse then a coach. Besides it give us something to do.

QC did not cause the problems. QC had nothing to do with the problems.

Elliot is correct--Quality Control (QC) does not cause problems. However POOR QC causes all kinds of problems---as any reader of this post can certify.
HEY Elliot want to hear about Seven --count 'em 7-- thermal windows I had to have replace on my Intrigue because of migrating seals between the panes. CC's quality control and service has detiorated!!!!!

All best rog

Re: [Country-Coach-Owners] Re: anyone who has NOT had any problems (04-06) coaches due to manufactu All but one of our "fixits" were components. The air line melt was IMHO a bad design where the air line was too close to the exhaust. I'd call that a design problem rather than QC.
After our last coach where 95% of the problems were a direct result of poor QC this one even with a few problems has been great.
Now if CC wants a few suggestions on design changes we could add a few. Move the airlines so they aren't so close to the exhaust, move the battery disconnect switch by the door and put the light switch that is by the copilot chair a bit closer to the door so you don't have to get into the coach to reach it.

Does a "hole in the roof" qualify??
QC is a part of the manufacturing process and plays the same role in that process as any other department.

Sorry about the attempted humor. I only meant to say QC did not cause or correct manufacturing errors because QC did nothing. Just a weak reference to past discussions of QC being only check marks on paper forms.
