Mystery Dash Switch

We've discovered an undocumented switch on the console area, immediately above the sliding floor cover. THis switch is the same shape and color (green on the right side), but is not a momemtarily on type like the floor cover switch. THe switch seems to do something with the heating/AC, but I don't know exactly what. It is not discussed in my owner's book.

Any idea what this one is?

David, on my Intrigue this switch enables the copilot to engage the right side heat/fan switch located above the copilot's head.

That's why this forum works. I have the same switch. I also did not know what it was for but only occasionally wondered about it. Now I know !! Thanks.

Dale, if it's like my 03 Allure the switch determines whether H/AC is entirely controlled by the driver or separate controls for the copilot.

I think you will find that these are very constructive comments based on the real world experience of many well meaning group members. Unfortunately you seem to be in denial( not the river! ) about what you can expect your coach

to sell for. This denial will cost you a lot of money IF you are truly trying to

sell it especially since your coach will continue to depreciate ~10% yearly.
Another way to think about it is that you lose *at least* $1000 for every month that

it fails to sell not to mention the time value of the money that you could be investing.

Provided that you have good exposure to potential buyers, your price should be dropping

at least $1000 per month just to keep up with the depreciation. Also you must add in the

amount that it was overpriced to begin with to determine where the price should be

currently. JMHO of course....good luck!

David,

This switch probably controls the A/C to the passengers side. Have it one way and Marilynn can control her A/C---or set the other way and you do. I have what sounds like a similar switch, but have never used it.

you may be referring to the switch that transfers some of the heater and dash a/c controls to the passenger.
That's my best guess without going out and looking at my coach which is 78 after yours.
