Passive RFID to Monitor Tire Pressure

I was wondering when they would figure out a way to use passive RFID to monitor tire pressure/temperature. Here it is: http://fleetowner.com/equipment/nutsbolts/fleet_intire_sensor_redesigned/ I bet they will just add this as an option on all their tires!! No batteries or leaks!! Glad I saved my money and waited!

Interesting article. Now all we need is a receiver that can display the data and set alarms on the coach and towed as we are going down the road. It will be interesting to follow the progress of this.
