Backup camera - negative image

Had an interesting experience today. Turned on Panasonic backup camera and image was very dark. As I drove down the road, I realized the image was a negative - bright glows coming from the shadow under the cars, white tires -- but in general very dark.
Tried cycling the dash unit, but now luck. When I had the opportunity, I stopped, and power cycle the whole coach -- Chassis and Coach battery disconnects off, then on. Problem solved. Normal bright image.
