Generator fuel lines replaced due to deteriora...

Yahoo Message Number: 39895
Greetings

I also had to change both Generator fuel lines, fortunately on the early Inspires you can see the lines from the LPG tank compartment, and they were badly deteriorated , but not that easy to get to .I was a little upset that the lines would go bad in 3 years, but CC must have known that because after reading my owners manual they recommend the fuel piping be replaced every 2 years. I used a higher grade of line inorder not to have to do that again. I left cut the old line at the Generator and the fuel tank and rerouted the new line.

You are correct Don, that's the way I found my fuel line problem, The generator would start and run for a minute or so then the fuel would run out all over the ground.( RV parks love that) I took my coach to Camping World and they said it was a fuel filter clogged, so I spent $ 200.00 + to have nothing fixed. Thats when I took matters in my own hands,I knew better that to take it to Camping World, but was in a panic over the fuel leak. Once I discovered the lines were bad it wasn't that hard to fix, It was frustrating more than anything else.
