Aqua-Hot low hot water pressure

Aqua Hot Model 450 in an 07 Allure. The system produces hot water but I don't have any hot water pressure at any of the faucets. Just a trickle. Cold pressure is okay. I changed filters and checked the faucet aerators. No leaks anywhere that I can find. Water pressure in the park is great. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I assume that you have a small trickle from the hot water side even if the Aqua Hot is not running???? If so, then it seems to me that you have trash in the hot water line somewhere, or a pinched line somewhere. If slow trickle is at all locations (bath and kitchen)then that narrows it down to the area before the split. Only way to find it is to be slow and methodical looking close at all connections and lines as they go thru bulk heads, until you find it. If you are not able to find it then you might try air pressure from the on board or separate compressor and see if you can get air flow to come out at either location. Might crank it up to 45 or 50 PSI and try to blow trash out...
I am also assumming that all worked well at one time and that this is a new problem. If so, it's probably construction trash that has finally reach a point that can block the line, but keep in mind the pinched line.

Check the outside shower faucet to make sure it is off. The shower head valve could be turned off, but if the faucet was left on, it can cause this symptom. Don't ask me why.

Larry, thanks.......I checked the outside shower head. Everything is turned off. The hot water side of the outside faucet also only produces a slow trickle. Note that on this coach that sprayer is actually a "cold water only" sprayer with an on and off valve only. The outside faucet (hot and cold) is not tied into that shower head.

Ray, thanks for the response. Yes, hot water pressure has been fine for the past year and a half.....could it take that long for trash to work its way through the system and reduce the flow? Is it possible it could be calcium buildup at the outflow to cause a restriction? This park does have exceptionally hard water. This is sounding more like a job for a professional.

I doubt also that it's calcium build up. I still would suspect some kind of trash from the construction process that has finally worked loose, or you have a pinched hot water line, somewhere, maybe around the Aqua Hot itself or one of the slides.
Also, check the city to tank fill valve and make sure it is closed tight.
On most Allures, you can remove the panel above the Aqua Hot and check all the thru bulk head fittings and make sure none are pinched.
Again, if all else fails, at least try to put air pressure on the system. A radical approach would be to reverse the air pressure from inside the coach to try to dislodge whatever.

Don, I've rapped and tapped on the mixer valve. Unfortunately, without mechanical advantage, I was unable to change the setting -- no amount of pressure would turn that thing. I certainly did not want to jeopardize my warranty by breaking something, without knowing the proper way to turn it. In any event, the low pressure remains. But thanks for your thoughts and ideas......certainly worth a try.

Here's an update to the low hot water pressure problem. I took the coach to Carrier & Sons in Eugene, OR. The tech there checked the mixing valve which proved to be okay. He also checked the hot water to faucet line for obstructions or collapse of hose, but that was okay also. A check of the cold water intake to the Aqua-Hot determined that the inflow was not very strong. He then took a wrench and rapped the check valve that Country Coach installed on that cold water intake line. Hot water pressure is now full at all taps and hot showers are greatly appreciated. Again, thanks for all the input from this group.

Remove the panel above the AH unit. On the left side is a blue plastic pipe (cold water intake) which connects to a white hose with blue tape at both ends. Where the blue plastic pipe connects to the hose is a brass connector. This connector is the check valve. Give this a sharp rap with a wrench if you're experiencing a water flow problem. This solved my problem.
