Camping with Electrical Problems

Well we are on a family group outing, and enroute the computer lady quit talking and we lost our tank sensor indicators, water fill, water drain, and house battery sensor. Also non-op is the overhead fan, HWH air level system, and remote generator start.
In the front run box, the domestic fuses seem to be ok as all lights are lit. Chassis fuses light up with the ignition key on.
When the ignition is turned on one row of domestic fuses do not light up. But that does not seem to affect any other operations.

All fuses in the utility bay light up.
Invertor is fine. Only the upper dash electronic controls and voice monitor are affected.

I find no single wire on which power flows to the upper dash items.

I do not have good schematics for the domestic 12v system.
Does anyone have a 1995 Magna and good wire schematics or knowledge of how power gets to those features from the house battery?

I don't know if your coach is the same as ours.
We have a electrical bay, which is inside the drivers second bay that is behind a removable panel. Inside this bay it has the over head dash fuses.

In the electrical compartment above the left front wheel, there are 3 rows of fuses. The top and bottom rows are 'ON' all the time and the middle row is active when the ignition switch is activated. The bottom row covers most of what you are having a problem with. Sounds like multiple fuses blown.

You may want to get into central electrical bay, and make sure the large reset button is pressed. It may need reset. Also, at the house batteries, press the resets.
My coach did this once, and it was the reset in electrical bay that was popped. I believe there is only one big red reset button in that bay. (Good luck)

Seems I had a similar problem. There is a single fuse going to a solenoid in the electrical bay. Not the bay under the driver but the bay on the passenger side, front bay. The one you have to crawl in and remove the cover. Look there for a dead led, seems it was a small fuse, maybe 7.5. Sure was happy to find it, thought I had major problems. As I remember, seems I lost all 12 volt stuff in the coach. Strongly suspect this is your problem. All 12 volt went through this solenoid. If you don't find, I can try to find the wire number.

In that bay the top row has four connection points. Three are used. The second from the right is the House Battery Disconnect Switch power. It's a 7.5Amp fuse and if it is blown, it is the same as throwing the House Battery Disconnect switch above the driver's head. However, you would have absolutely NO 12V stuff working in the house portion of the coach.

I had the same problem. Turned out to be the solenoid itself. It also drained gennie battery, and step would not extend. Surprise when I stepped out the door. The solenoid is located in that same bay, looks like an old Ford starter solenoid.

All the fuses in the electric bay LED light up so the fuses are ok.
I learned tonight that the first and third row fuse LEDs in the Driver side bay light up when the fuse box cover opens. The second row lights with the ignition key. I have pulled several fuses in the row that does not now light up and they seem ok. I have replaced a couple with no effect.
Over the course of 24 hours, I first lost the fresh water fill capability after draining the tank. I checked the fuses including the 105V fuses between the battery and the inverter. All were ok. I had no voltage at the water fill solenoid.
Next I lost the tankage readouts. Then I heard the computer lady say "low battery voltage". I then checked my Link 2000 which is directly wired to the battery and it indicated the battery was in float and receiving 13.6V.
We filled the tanks through the water fill port. And headed to our outing commitment. Upon arrival I learned we had no leveling system and no house voltage readout and later that the Dash blower fan and the power seats were not working. Also the generator door switch does not operate.
So, somehow, there is no power from the house battery to the front run board below the driver's feet but my 12V lights and fantastic fans work? I will recheck that line and its fuses in the AM.

I had a 99 magna currently have a o6 magna from the systems that are not working they all come off the ignition I am not sur about the gen switch but I would check for a loose wire on the ignition switch or a bad relay in the ignition circut.

It was the 105A relay, red button, that needed to be reset. I evidently was too timid to press hard enough to effect the reset two days ago.
Now, I need to get my water tank measures and leveling corner status lights working and all will be well.

Your finding that relay tripped as the cause reminds me of our coach. To make a long story short I ( 2 times at Buddy Gregg ) found that the connections at the relay switch were not tight. It was a lucky find as returning home lots of electrical shut down. While trying to find the reason I just gave the connections a tug and actually moved the cable. Every thing started working and the talking lady gave me one of her canned speeches. Just wanted to pass this along in hope of stopping a reoccurring problem.
