Winterizing Intrigue Oasis

I just bought a new 2002 Intrigue that has the "Hydronic" heating system. I live in Ohio, and the temps get into the 20's. I have the ability to hook up at home to 20amps which hopefully will be enough to run the furnace. My questions are: Should I run the furnace during the winter months while the coach is not in use. If so will that heat the plumbing bay as well as keep the other appliances ie ice maker, washing machine, from freezing.
Will this burn an excessive amount of diesel fuel? Is there a specific process I should follow? Also can I use a cube heater during this time the coach is not in use? I would like to avoid using antifreeze except in the traps.
If there is a specific process other than this please let me have your suggestions.

By the way we just traded in our Monaco Diplomat for the new Intrigue. The Monaco was easy to winterize however it took about an hour to do it right.

Didn't see a response to your post so here's my two cents.....
I have 30 amp at my house for my coach. I keep my hydronic heat on at the lowest setting possible... 40 degrees. That keeps the inside above freezing so I don't have to winterize or take liquids off the coach. I like to keep it ready to go on a moments notice. The furnace and inside thermostat work off of the battery... so as long as they stay charged there should never be a problem and your 20 amp should take care of that.
The plumbing bay has it's own thermostat and, according to the manual, is set to keep the tanks above freezing. MINE WAS NOT! The first really cold weather (10 degrees) brought the bay temp down to 26 before I went outside (Brrrrrrr) to adjust it. The plumbing bay works independently of the inside thermostat. It only needs the control panel to be on.
Don't take this as authoritative..... it's my understanding of how things work and my experiences.... but should give you some guidance.

How do I check or adjust the temp setting for the plumbing bay? thanks,

Hi Bill

Welcome aboard. This group is very friendly and will be a great help to you as you get to know your coach and find out how many questions you will have.

I also have a 2003 Allure. (30858) I am full timing in Colorado and have been through many a night in the single digit temperatures and have not had a bit of trouble with the temperature setting that was set when I picked up the coach in JC.

I did come across your other post regarding the location of the stat, but after sending the messg..
I found the stat... now I have to get a mirror so I can stand on my head to see the thing and figure out the settings.
