The website NADAguides.com will give you price up thru 2002 on RV. It is a good valid place to get values. I used is extensively when we were looking. Of course those are Retail values and you can usually get Rigs for less. Good Luck.

NADA says $138000 low retail $166000 for the single slide 02 allure does that make sense?

Suggest you go to a bank or credit union and ask them to let you look at the NADA book for RV's. You can also subscribe to it as I did for a couple of years. Use the wholesale number for the coach in mind as a basis for negotiating. Make sure you also use the section for the values of all the options that may not be included in the base price.

Thanks Jim,

I think we are talking 150K retail+- 10K. How do the owners of Allure like their units? How does this short unit ride and drive? Damon said some owners reported handling issues that took a bit to cure.

What year is the coach, low milage coaches are not always good, not driven enough

can be worse then high milage. These machines were made to be driven not sitting.

A major factor concerning quality of ride is the wheel base. If you drive a 32, 36 and single axle 40 ft Allure where all the tire pressures are correct, ride height correct and all other conditions are the same you will soon discover that the 40 ft coach gives the best ride on the highway but the worst turning circle.
At the other end of the spectrum, the 32 will turn on a dime so to speak but will give a choppier ride on the highway.
I do not wish to upset owners of 32ft coaches, but would suggest the 36ft units are a better buy if you can find a nice one. A little more space, still a good turning radius and a good ride.
I had a discussion with an owner of a 32ft recently. He said he would not do the 32ft length again.

Just my opinion.

John,

I like my 2000 Allure a lot. It has performed well for me. I bought it new and had some minor problems at first. Now it works great.
The ride and handling is outstanding. I have a 40 footer. The 51 degree turning radius allows me to nearly make a complete circle with the rear wheels in a fixed spot. The independent front suspension makes for a great smooth ride. I have been living in the coach for nearly a year while I rebuild a home. It has been cold here in PA lately, some nights at or below zero. The furnace works well. The insulation of the coach keeps most of the cold at bay. I have not had any holding tank freeze ups due to the heaters CC installs and the bays stay warm as well.

I would buy another CC in a heartbeat. To see the difference for yourself in handling and ride, select a competing coach from another manufacturer. Take it for a ride and really check it out. Then go for a ride in a CC. Note the quiet as well.

Have fun,
Dave G.

Drives and handles great. My coach is a 'short' 40 feet in length.
It is the 'Chandler' floor plan.
