Dirty Streaks on Windshield and Sides of Coach

Yahoo Message Number: 3909
I have finally eliminated the nasty, ickey, terrible looking black streaks down the side of my light cream colored coach and the windows, especially the windshield. My blessings to Quartzsite Woodstock for Seniors.
My problem was created by condesation (I assume the daily occurrence was due to the outstanding insullation of the coach) daily, leaving streaks down the sides and the windows of the coach. Every single time I wanted to "go", I first had to clean the windshield - It was that bad.
I ran into a product called Gutter Trim at the RV Show in Quartzsite and had it installed on the very top of the coach, not down along the trim bead just above the awnings. This was put on at the very top crown, actually on the top of the coach. It does show on top if you really look for it, and it actually works. Keeps all the condensation up there where it can run down only on two of the corners where we left a space, and a piece running from the top down to the bottom of the front drivers windshiels. Now in the morning, or after a light drizzle, I have puddles at the front left and back right of the coach, and no streaks running down the sides or over the windowns, especially the windshield.
I found out after my return home that Camping World does carry it in 25' lengths. They also have a 200' roll (item 15641), a discontinued item, at $1.23 a foot. It takes a full 100' to do a 40' coach so a couple of you might want to get together and grab that last roll at San Marcos. If anyone desires any do it yourself guidance info, please let me know, as I watched the installer very closely and passed him several bottles of cold water during the 4 hours it took him to do the job in the heat of the afternoon in Quartzsite - it must have been all of 75° that afternoon. Regards to all and good traveling:

That streaking also comes from a roof that is chaulking and it needs to be cleaned and waxed. I just had ours conpounded and 2 coats of a uv wax put on and that eliminated our streaking. It also helps protect the life of the roof. The chaulking gets under the clear coat on the roof sides where the roof is painted to match the coach.
After a while the chaulking will make the clear coat come off so new gutters are not the entire solution. This was told to me by Tim Reed, CCIs warranty rep. at Lazy Days.
