You Can't Check Everything (can you?)

I've had this coach ('00 Magna) for three years and 55,000 miles. I followed my cousin on the last trip we took and we drove past sundown. At one point he called me on the CB and said he couldn't see me. I was right behind him. To get to the point my FCC clearance lights were out. Turns out they were never wired up and I never noticed it in all this time. I found the missing connection (a crimp never made) and now they work just fine. I know you can't check everyting but you coach buyers should try anyway. jerry in NM.
