Yes there is, but GE says that it is not "user replaceable" so they do not give you instructions in the owner's manual on how to replace the light. It is somewhat difficult to do, but not impossible, but there is NO WAY I could describe how to do it. I could show you if I were in your coach, but verbally I just can't describe it. Sorry!! Maybe there is someone on the forum who is a better wordsmith and can describe the process. Or you can pay a GE service man $60+ and have him come out and install a new bulb. If you do, watch him carefully and maybe you can do it yourself the next time. Sorry I couldn't have been more help.

Go to: http://www.instructables.com/id/GE-Advantium-Microwave-Halogen-Lightbulb-Replaceme/#step1
It will give you step by step instructions as well as photos. Replaced mine with no problem with this guide - however, one word of caution - either kill the power to the whole coach or follow the instructions to be sure and unplug the unit. I am an electrical engineer and respect what electricity can do - I 'kill' the coach and work by flashlight to be certain that everything is dead if I have any doubts whatsoever.

The question related to the GE#JV1490 microwave/convection oven WHICH IS NOT the Advantium microwave/convection oven but the conventional GE Profile oven. I have looked at the instructions for the Advantium before and the bulb replacement is not even similar. These instructions will not help you unless you have the Advantium oven.

Sorry about that, Brian and Teresa. My coach is currently over in storage and I didn't research to be sure the oven that Teresa was referring to was the Advantium - the manual for the Advantium also states that the bulb is not user replaceable. I will try to be more thorough before I jump in next time.

Teresa:

Yes, there is a light. Part # WB08X10050. Buy several, you will need them all. The lamp is located in the upper left hand portion of the oven. The oven must be dropped down from it's mounting to access the bulb location. It is a very bad design.
I have changed mine 3 times in 5 years. I hope this information is helpful.

Perhaps we are talking about different models of ovens, too. My model number is JVM1490BH01. It is a GE Profile Spacemaker Oven. You can access the place where the bulb is by removing the grill at the top of the oven. In this particular model, the bulb is in the right, forward corner of the roof of the oven. Once you get the grill off, there is a metal cover over the area where the bulb is. That cover has to be unscrewed, and it requires a very, very small screwdriver. Small in the sense of the length of the screwdriver, not the blade size. Once that cover is removed, you can take a small mirror and look at what's next. There is another cover below the first one. This one doesn't screw down. You have to pinch the sides of the cover together and lift the cover out of a rectangular hole. Once you do that you can pull the bulb and wires out and from there it's easy to work on.
A second problem is that (since the bulb is not user replaceable) the owner's manual does not say what wattage bulb to use as a replacement. I discovered that if you use to high a wattage, the heat will decrease the life of the bulb and you'll be doing this all over again. The bulb itself has no indication of wattage.
I have replaced mine three times now and each time have decreased the wattage with no degradation in the amount of light inside the oven. The latest bulb I used was a Philips 35 watt halogen bulb actually designed for "Outdoor Security". I found this at Ace Hardware. The most important thing is matching the base of the lamp. There are some that are very similar but not identical.
I hope this helps. Once you've done it a time or two, it's not that difficult, but, for me, the first two times were a bear. The hardest part of the whole thing is finding the right screwdriver. I always had to borrow one from a friend that lives in Custer, SD (who I see in the winter in Tucson) until one day I was in an RV park in Maine and opened my forwarded mail and, lo and behold, there was the proper screwdriver---my friend had found one and mad mailed it to me. Bless him!!!

Thank you so much for your help and I will pass this onto my very handy husband. I couldn't believe there wasn't a light in the oven. So it hasn't been working since we purchased it last year ! We have a 05 Inspire CC#51473

Thanks Brian for your help, it is where you stated but they don't make it easy to locate or get to. We have a 05 Inspire so for those with the same model I would have to assume that yours too is on the right and not the left like the 06 Inspire. Thanks again ! Teresa CC 51473
