Norcold 1210 Frig Problem

Went out to turn on the frig so it would be cold by the time we go camping this weekend but seems to have a problem. Worked fine until today. Its a Norcold 1210, 3 years old. Power on button turns frig on. The mode button changes LP, AC or Auto OK. Temperature button changes temp settings OK. Power indicator light on display glows green but interior light does not come and cooling unit is not operating. I tried to turn unit off with the on/off button but will not turn off unless I remove 12V fuse. Normally you press and hold the on/off button and unit turns on or off. When I hold the button the display shows 1, let it go and hold again, display shows 2, and so on. In between the display shows "88". I have tried to reset the control board without success. Fuses on control board are OK.
Is it possible there is a diagnostic mode and the control board is stuck in this mode? Anyone seen this before?

Any ideas before I replace the control board?

Dave, I was getting oddball readouts too. I took it to a Norcold Service Center. Turns out there many error codes but no problems, sort of like not turning off your computer for 3 years. They cleaned out all the error codes and rebooted it.

Works like a charm. You might start this way, and it was $50 total.
