How to Stop a Water Drain Valve Leak

Yahoo Message Number: 63023
This came up a few days ago. Forgot the best "easy" fix. Drained my water tank to refill and one value just would not close completely. After tapping, cycling, etc., used 30# of air and blew through it back into water tank and instant stop. Just make sure you have the cap off the water tank so the air has an easy vent. The one valve that is stubborn, is the hardest to get to, naturally. Some day I may change it, but as long as air works, I'm good to go.

Recently had a similar problem with the initial fix suggested by John Davis. In the inverter bay there is a fuse linked to the electric valve. Removing the fuse enabled the value to close. The source of the problem was a faulty Intellitec switch in the bathroom panel. Replaced at Holland RV in San Diego.
