Slideout Hydraulic Lines

Yahoo Message Number: 63400
Just got the coach back from Peterson, new Radiator$$$, tried to open slides at home and nothing happened, pump came on, no movement, well, behind the right tag was fluid everywhere, 2 of the lines had blown away from their fittings (almost as though someone held the switch while the pump was running, trying to push the slide against the stop and pressure built up and blew the lines off at the fittings, don't know, all slides worked fine when retracted them to take to shop) Question is: Where in the SF BAY AREA is a shop that will work on these Hydraulic lines? Thanks

Rob,

If you are mechanically inclined, you can replace them yourself. Any hydraulic hose place can make up new ones for you. All you need is the length and the old fittings so they can match them up.

Rob I called HWH when mine broke and they gave me a list of names. Be sure you have and correct crimp tool. Tool is special to HWH and the crimp must be made on the floor. I interviewed several and only a few new what I was taking about. It has nothing to do with being mechanically inclined, but having the correct tools.
