Headlight/surging

I have two questions

My 2005 Inspire's Head light is not working. Where may I purchase a replacement ?

When driving up the steep hills in Colorado the engine surges so much that I have to back off the pedal, but after a few minutes it repeats.
Our diesel is a Cat-9, with

Allison Trans. Does anyone have any input on either issue ??

Hi Stan

Are both headlights not working ?,usually the headlight itself doesn't go bad, only the bulbs, and you can access them through the front cap generator panel, they are twist and remove type bulbs available at any auto parts store. As far your second question, sorry I have no idea, maybe someone else with jump in.good luck Jerry

First, change fuel filters. Second, check fuel pump pressure for weak pump.

Stan:

We had a surging issue with our 06 Inspire with C9 and a reflash of the ECM fixed things. Cat has had numerous re-programming issues with the C9's of that vintage.

Both my headlights (low beam) were out when I bought my coach. I tried to get it in for service to get it fixed, but that would take several days. Finally got off my butt and checked them, just the bulbs needed replacing. Any auto store.

Corina,

Thank You for the info. If I may ask a question, you had a 2006 Inspire and now you have an Intrigue. Is making that big move up to an Intrigue worth the additional money. Things like the Ride, Braking, Quite, Overall Handling.
