CC poop and otherkk tidbits G670 tires

Thanks Roger, great report!!

I have significant inside tire wear on my G670's. I noticed it (kind of minor) at 30k and a Goodyear dealer said I would be wasting my money to replace them now. I am back from this summer's journey and now have 45k on the tires and the wear is significant. I also have wear but not as much cupping on the outside.
I was wondering if you or someone else could comment on the possible solution mentioned below?

The inside tire wear, as many of us have complained about on our front Goodyear G670's, seems to be more susceptible to this brand than others (Michelin, for example). However, the real problem is in the geometry of the independent suspension design of our later coaches. Paul said that no matter the tire brand we elect to use, we will always experience more wear than others with other suspension systems. (Real knowledgeable folks who know heavy front end alignments, may have a solution for this.)

John, I have seen many, many dozens of reports on the G670 tire wear on steer tires over the last 3-4 years on this site and on Monaco Yahoo Group sites. The majority group consensus is: (1) it is an inherent problem due to G670 tire design; (2) once it starts, it can't be stopped; (3) it is a problem regardless of the type of front suspension.
The only solution, which is really a minimizing tactic, is to run your front tires with the highest pressure you can without exceeding the tire pressure maximums. Most foiks generally run 10 PSI over the recommended pressure for their load.
