Algae - X Magnetic Fuel Conditioners

Has anyone had any experience with magnetic fuel conditioners manufactured by Algae-X International of Fort Myers FL?
It is a device that is installed between the fuel tank and the fuel filters.
They claim the device cleans diesel fuel. There is a lot of info on their website (www.algae-x.net) but I was looking for information from users. The item is apparently common to many Detroit Diesel engine applications.
