Fisher Paykel dishwasher on inverter

Hi all I just recently installed a single drawer Fisher Paykel Model #: DD24SCX6 dishwasher in my CC. I have a 99 Allure with the kitchen single slide. Installation was easy after reconfiguring the sink plumbing. I have a heart 2000watt inverter that supplies modified sine wave power whenever I am not connected to shore power or running generator. I have ran thru several wash cycles on shore power with no problems but the unit will "see" the modified sine wave inverter power whenever inverter is turned on and I am not connected to generator/shore power. Anyone with experience of a processor controlled dishwasher on modified sine wave inverter? I know some of the newer Country Coach models included a true sine wave inverter and I expect there would not be a problem. The dishwasher is connected at all times and must be powered since opening the drawer a causes the cycle led to light and program entry to be enabled. thanks to all in advance,

David,

If your not going to run the dishwasher on the inverter, just wire in a switch to take it off line. If your asking whether the modified sine wave will work with the dishwasher, you may have to ask the manufacturer. I put a new residential refrigerator in my previous bus and it absolutely required a pure sine wave inverter system.

I have a modified sine also and anything I have tried with a processed will not work If it is very important you might try a full sine dedicated to the washer only.

Jack, actually, I run many things with microprocessors off my 3k Freedom 458 with no problem. I even run a heated electronic bidet, a digital coffee pot and a small freezer no problem. I have had problems with digital electric heaters, a cuisinart coffee grinder that smoked immediately and perhaps a Tefal digital toaster. so I have never been able to determine exactly what things require a pure sine wave inverter.

Thanks for the clarification, Rich.
My experience consisted of only about three digital items, but they were 100% unhappy with the modified sine. My coach, probably like yours (heated bidet, yet! No bidet here.) has a separate 120 volt circuit that bypasses the coach systems, so I run digital stuff off that. When I am boondocking I do not use the digital items. The gadgets I have are the digital Cuisinart coffee pot, a heated bed pad, and a Lasco tower heater. I bet someone on here can boil this down for us.
I should have qualified my reply to explain such a narrow sampling.

What, no bidet! Shame on you, Jack. Must have item. Don't you want to be the envy of Prevost owners? I am not aware of a 120v outlet in this Magna that does not go through the inverter transfer switch. Where is yours? BTW, to further expand the mystery, I run my Cuisinart coffee maker off of the Freedom at times. The Cuisinart does make a funny humming noise on inverter, but has not failed. As you said, perhaps one of our electronic whizzes might explain all this to us.

;*). I thought of several comments about RVers hygiene, but will restrain myself.
My separate AC input is in the water bay (behind the phone and cable TV input jacks), looks like the male end of an extension cord. Maybe they substituted a separate AC system for a heated bidet. Inside the coach there are 120V outlets labeled "nonintegrated" - they were a mystery until I figured out what the plug was for in the water bay. The only "nonintegrated" outlets I have found are on the face of the cabinet below the pantry, in the bathroom sink cabinet front, and in the bay that provides a cable TV outlet, I assume for a bay mounted TV set. I use them for my space heaters to avoid tripping the "hard to access" breaker switch on the inverter (another learning curve).

I have a 2000 Allure with kitchen slide and would like to install the dishwasher as have you..How did you reconfigure the plumbing in order to get the 24x16x16 box in place.. Any help would be appreciated. A picture would be priceless.
