A/C Refrigerant Quantity Required??

Yahoo Message Number: 66009
I'm finally getting me schedule organized with the repair shop to fix my leaking A/C hose fitting. Since it is cold here....50's, the guy at the shop mentioned that using a pressure reading would not be the best when recharging, so he asked if I knew the exact number of pounds of refrigerant that the unit required as he did not want to over-charge the unit.
I looked through my books and I cannot find the number of pounds required for the over the road system for a 2001 42' B&B Affinity.
Do you know where in the documentation I can find it? Or do you know the # of pounds required?

Thanks Den 2001 42' B&B Affinity # 5972

On mine, in the engine compartment, there is a label on the side of the coolant tank with refrigerant and oil fill amounts.

Most of the 40 ft coaches use 4 lbs. Yours is most likely the same.

Our 97' Magna uses 6 lbs. It has the unit in the bedroom for over the road air. May take the extra 2 lbs.
