Problem - Michelin XZE 12R - 22.5

Yahoo Message Number: 65879
Friends, purchased 8 ea. Michelin 12R-22.5 in Nov. 2008, now have 35,000 miles on them and just noticed bubbles on sidewalls of 3 tires.
The are located on both Tag Tires and one outer drive axle tire. I will take coach back to Michelin dealer in San Antonio for inspection. Has anyone had this problem?
The Michelin's replaced the Toyo's after 70,000 miles and no problems in 6 years.

Secondly looking for opinions on Bridgestone R250F 12R-22.5, if Michelin doesn't help I'm not sure I want to replace in kind after this problem arose

Michelin's are date coded week 8 of 2008 and week 25 of 2008

Had the same problem - blisters in the sidewalls of fresh retreaded tires in an old bus I bought years ago. Certainly shouldn't happen in relatively new tires! The blisters will get bigger and eventually burst producing a leak. Tires should be replaced.

I put six of the XZE 12R-225 tires on my 2003 Magna just last year. I am also interested in what Michelin has to say. Please keep the forum updated and good luck with the "Michelin Man". Macke 2003 Magna #6277

Friends,

I went to my Tire Dealer in San Antonio this AM where I purchased the Michelin's, they inspected my tires where I had marked the "Bubbles". They agreed they were defects and are taking care of me very well as follows:
They are replacing the bad tires with new ones at 90% credit the measured a 10% wear rate. I had to pay the Fed Excise Tax, the Sales Tax and dismount/remount charge. Had only one done today due to inventory issue, have to wait for a truck from Houston to get the rest of the tires and have them take the 7 other tires off for complete inspection. Tires there putting on will be date coded week 37 or 2010 or newer.
Right now it looks like the bad tires came from the same date code week 8 of 2008, I'll let you know if any of the week 25 of 2008 are bad on the next post.
