Chk Trans??

Hi,

I posted about an hour ago and it hasn't shown up. So, I'm posting again. I apologize if this turns out to be a duplicate posting.
I have a 2000 Allure and yesterday I noticed that the dashboard CHECK TRANSMISSION light is staying on when I get ready to start up. I did the transmission controller double arrow push and get OLOK, but nothing else. There are no operational issues that I can detect. Is this is a maintenance notice or an operational issue?
I do not have one of CRT on board diagnositc systems that many of you have, but I do have a Cummins Road Relay. Will it record transmission faults? How do I check it? The Road Relay is a very recent addition and I'm still learning how to use it.
