Replace Carpet With Wood Floor

We recently had Ernie Ekberg tear out the carpets in our '02 Intrigue and replace them with bamboo wood flooring. I just posted "Before" and "After" photos of the living room and the bedroom in the Group Photos section under the folder heading "Bufty's 02 Intrigue Wood Floor by Ernie".
Ernie came to our coach and literally weathered the storm to complete the job. He did the installation during a record-breaking multi-day period of rain in Seal Beach California . Since many pieces of the wood planking had to be custom cut to fit, that involved going out in the rain to get to his saws and other equipment. I rented a U-Haul truck and parked it right beside the coach and that was where Ernie was able to set up his equipment. And when the park power went out for a day, we plugged the power equipment into our inverter output. But even with all that, Ernie still had to go out in the rain to get to his saws and then back out in the rain to get back in the coach. He was a real trooper!
The job came out beautifully. Kudos to Ernie for a job well done in spite of the weather! I have no vested interest in Ernie's business but would like to toot his horn in case anyone needs any kind of flooring work. He travels to many parts of the country to perform his magic.
