Yahoo Message Number: 67749
Hello All,

We have a leaking ride height valve that need to be replaced. We will be in Palm Desert, CA this Wednesday. Any recommendations on service people?

Thanks,
Marta

The same ride height valves are used on RVs, trucks, school buses, dump trucks, you name it. I would look for a truck repair facility, you are probably less likely to be overcharged.
If it is a rear valve that usually means there are two, one on each side. Both would need to be replaced because it is very unlikely the replacement will be exactly like the one that failed. Control valves on each side acting differently can make for unusual (possibly dangerous) handling.

NAPA sells them as well.

I don't know about a service location in Palm Desert. Several days ago a CCO had a hugh run around with a truck repair shop trying to locate a valve. I just went on e-bay and there is a KN 27000 Midland - Haldex kit for sale. Item # 190473487776 if you need. E-bay line search..... Midland Haldex....NAPA has the valves and can cross reference to Midland. If you replace both rear valves keep the good one for a spare.
