Bill,

Sorry I forgot to address your original question. I don't believe that the weight values given by CC are minus the weight of the slides. For the slides to be an option then ordering one without them would also be an option. I am not sure but I don't believe that one could have ordered an 05 Intrigue with no slides. Maybe someone knows for sure.
The only time that I have had any personal experience with base models without options is in calculating the base price for tax purposes. In many states and towns it is legal to calculate excise taxes/personal property taxes based on the base model subtracting the options from the selling price.

Thanks Don, your first post does make sense - my coach is not with me just yet (in Nacogdoches) but I will get that info off the info sheet in the bathroom & do the calculations. What prompted my question was your post regarding the carrying capacity of your second coach, the 40' Allure. I remember reading one time long ago about a guy who had bought an SOB gasser. It turned out, after putting people and fuel-water in, they only had like 800lbs. before reaching their weight limit! Appreciae your reply!

Don,

Looking at the weight info, my Intrigue ('05, 40' Quad slide, tag, C-13 525HP) calculates CCC like this:

GVWR - 45,200lbs.

minus UVW - 37,968lbs.

minus H2O (92gal) - 764lbs.
minus LP gas (19.4gal) - 87lbs.

minus SCWR (3 people X154lbs.ea.) - 462lbs.
Equals - 5,919lbs. CCC.
The GCWR is 55,200lbs.

GVWR - Gross Vehicle Weight Rating UAW - Unloaded Vehicle Weight

SCWR - Sleeping Capacity Weight Rating GCWR - Gross Combination Weight Rating CCC - Cargo Carrying Capacity

The 5,919lbs. sounds like alot but
