Rear Mud Flap-Removed

After listening to the discussion, decided to remove it. Two bolts later, it's on the ground. Man, that thing is heavy. One can tell by looking how much it was an air dam to retain heat in the engine area. Can see the muffler and oil pan now. With the basement compartments so close to the ground we are not getting a lot of air flow under the coach, so what air could find it's way into the engine compartment was having a hard time finding a way out. If we get even a small increase in milage, with today's cost, it should be paying us back every mile. We admit to liking the look it gave, but I want cooling and better milage more.

Keep us posted as to how cooling, mileage and toad are affected by removing the mud flap...
