1998/9 Cummins C-8.3 Cracked Exhaust Manifold

Fellow Older CC Owners with C-8.3 Cummins. The other day I did yearly Oil, Filter Mtn. here in Yuma. On a cold Engine I saw a two inch crack on the Turbo hot housing manifold the one towards the rear of engine larger piece. I have sent my fellow Cummins owners with Blown exhaust gaskets on newer SOB Brand coachs to Yuma Diesel. Now is my Turn. As a retired Cat Tech. I opted to have Cummins replace the complete manifod as Im heading to florida and wont be tooled up being on the road if a problem arises. I will keep You posted on repairs and findings. I will also have them put on a laptop and check Codes, Sensors, Turbo cartridge etc. I have an early 24 valve engine only 72k miles. If you have a similar problem feel free to share.
