Sewer smell when running gas heat

When we turn on the gas heat in Zone 2 (bedroom area), with the door to the galley closed, there is a sewer smell, whether the tanks are empty or not. Any feedback appreciated. This group is fantastic and we appreciate you all. Thanks!! Jack and Sue 51672

Could the smell be raw gas?? Leak possible?

I can't find background on your coach online.
Hydrohot or gas furnace?

I assume by "gas" the roof unit is not running.....

Gray water can smell as bad as black water sometimes - check your under sink vents. Worked forme.

I had a similar problem and found that the water in the p trap on the washer had evaporated from non-use and negative pressure pulled the air from the gray tank into the coach. Never know.

All the replies you got are good ones - just a thought...is there a dead mouse in the fan compartment?
