Where can I get part # conversions from CC#

Yahoo Message Number: 69156
It is time to change out my filters and I am trying to get the part # for the engine air cleaner cc# 31131 and the air dryer cc# 21499 for my 2006 intrigue with a c-9 cat. Is there a part # conversion published? Thanks for all the info from this list. I have been reading it daily for 6 months and appreciate all the information that is shared.

I have never been able to find a conversion table. This group is the best source for such information. I pulled my air cleaner to get the manufacturers part number. I have for some time been compiling a list of the relevant maintenance part numbers. When shopping for parts in particular filters check around. The air filter for my C-9 ranged from $113 to $78 dollars for the exact same filter. I got mine from a local diesel shop for about $27 less than NAPA which was interesting. I got my hydraulic (fleetguard) filters from a John Deere shop for half of what a Cummings wanted.

For the air dryer. Crawl under the coach skinny helps and get the numbers off the air dryer. Go to the Bendix web site. Call their tech line and they will show you where to find the service bulletin for your dryer. This bulletin gives all the part numbers for the filter and purge valve assemblies. The techs will talk as long as you want on how to determine if it is time to change the dessicant filter. Note per Bendix the remanufactured filters are as good as the new filters and much cheaper. You have to ask for the re-manafactured filter. I called ahead to make sure they had the correct filter in stock. The CAT dealer I went to had never seen the model that is on my 2006 Allure C-9 and therefore would not have had it had I not called ahead with the correct part numbers. I am not at my coach but I believe I have a AD-IP model.
