VMSpc

Sorry for bringing this back up, but anyone out that has a CC with the 330ISC engine using the VMSpc know if the plug is a six pin. That is one center plug with 5 around the center one.

Thanks in advance,
Egon

I have a 2000 Allure with 330ISC and I am using the VMSpc. I have a rectangle shaped connector under the dash and the round connector in the aft R/H bay. Not much concern and I just cut the connector off the VMSpc interface and tapped it into the wiring under the dash.
Works just fine for 4 years now.

Still looking for anyone that has located the plug under the dash for the VMSpc on a '99 Allure or perhaps an Intrique.

Again, thanks in advance,
Egon

Did you read 23106? In my coach there is a rectangle shaped plug. It is either 8 or 12 pin connector with a plastic cover. Look in your wiring schematics and locate the plug and the wire numbers. My connector was located behind the kick panel to the left of the steering column. Tap into the ECM data output lead for the VMSpc input. I assume the 99's had electronically controlled engines and trannys? If not there will be no ECM.

Mine is round and is located above and about 8" to the right of the gas pedal, behind the kick panel.
