Loss of back up monitor on an Intrigue

Yahoo Message Number: 5142
Hi, I have a 2003 Intrigue, 36'. Just for general information, I have lost the video on my back up monitor twice in the last two months. I thought that the first time was caused by the repair shop I was in but that wasn't the case. I searched under the dash and everything seemed fine but I read in the manuals that there is another connection. The person I spoke to at CC had me try a whole bunch of programming from the manual but nothing seemed to help. I even called the manufacturer and worked with them over the phone doing more programming. My favorite east coast repair shop, Risco, found that there was a loose plug in the compartment in front of the passenger seat. The plug in this case is pushed very hard against an insulated pipe. Probably N.J. roads and all their pot holes caused one bump too many causing the plug to lose it's connections. Anyway, you have the screen on the dash, those wires go to the compartment in the front of the passenger seat (where the HWH board is contained) where there is another box for the system. From there I believe they go to the camera in the rear. Opening the compartment and pushhing in the plugs cured the problem right away. It seems that this will more than likely happen again since the plugs really push against the foam insulated pipe causing them to move. I don't know about you but I really depend on that rear view monitor and feel naked when it isn't working. Keep this one in mind.
