All,

Does anyone out there have experience with the above regarding purchase of a Country Coach, or service of same? Any information you could pass along to me would be greatly appreciated. Anything at all regarding either of the above and your experiences! Thanks in advance!

Reese

Purchased my CC 06 Inspire from them about 15 months ago. It went pretty smooth except they were supose to change all the fluids/filters before I picked it up. When I challenged them they finally admitted they hadn't done the service and promply completed the changes.

We bought a used 2006 Allure from them a couple of years ago. The owner and service manager were easy to work with and they fixed a number of issues that they could have argued but didn't. They sent the vehicle to Colton Truck Terminal when they thought they were getting in over their head and put us up in a hotel. They have performed service and repair work for us with no major complaints. I like to be around and keep track of what is going on. We usually stay in the coach as they do have hook ups.

I bought my 2005 Inspire used from them in Dec. 2005. They were very good with us. They did a couple of thing that needed to be fixed and we gave the several week to complete and took an out of state delivery in Yuma and all went well.

Last year we also had a positive experience with Holland. They dealt fair on the purchase of a unit in on consignment. I quite often post how pleased we were with Steve Wilson, and that honest professionals do exist. (The reuputation of some good people, are so often painted by those that earn our scorn - a real shame.) I found the service area to be fair, and have a good staff. Pat, the Service Manager, was also very straight forward in his dealings with us. They have high overheads, and that is reflected in the hourly shop rates.
They did move recently, and I do not know how many of the gang stayed with them when they moved to San Marcos.
Bottom line - they were honest to deal with, and did what they said they would do.

Reese -- I personally do not have any experience with Holland, but a friend of mine here at the Newport Dunes RV Park in Newport Beach, has a 45 foot Country Coach that he purchased thru Holland. He bragged about them - said they were awesome to deal with -- we happened to be just discussing where we bought our coaches, and Rick said they were incredibly good to work with -- if u want to speak directly with him, I can ask him if he would mind me giving you his phone number or email address -- just let me know if I can help, Reese.
I bought my coach from California Coach Company in Costa Mesa (owner is Steve Bennett) and he was wonderful -- cant say enough about how wonderful he was to me - helpful, honest, went above and beyond to help me after the sale.... if I can be of any help, just let me know Jan

All,

Thanks to everybody that responded to my question about Holland Motorhomes of San Diego. The purchase process went well and we will be closing on a 08 Magna Rembrandt in the near future. Hopefully the PDI will go as smoothly as the purchase process.
Sincerely,

Reese
