2005 country coach inspire

We are looking at an 05 country coach inspire, 40 foot
We can't get inside yet and are interested in the carrying capacity. Anybody know?

Also...any known issues we should watch for?

This will be our second motorhome and first DP.

We are full timers.

We have an '05, 40 ft Inspire De Vinci. The GVWR is 33,200 lbs. I'm not at the MH at the moment, but as I recall, you will have about 3,300 lbs carrying capacity. but yours may differ entirely. Why? Well the accessories and fluids can make some difference. I believe the best way is to weigh the coach, driver and passenger/s. Following is our specs: Coach filled with our stuff, driver and passangers, clothes, dishes, pots, pans, books, computer, tools, etc. etc...
Fuel: 3/4 tank

Fresh water: 7/8 full, that's about 800 lbs right there Gray tank: 0
Black tank: 0
Propane: 5/8 full

This leaves us with approx. 1,400 lbs under the max weigh. Or we can reduce the fresh water, etc. Hope this can give you some idea. We are not full timers. A nice feature is that the coach has a 10K towing capacity. We tow approx. 6K w/ brakes on the toad.
Make sure the radiator is steel, not aluminum or deduct another $6K from the sales price. If the tires are original, they need to be replaced, that's another $3K. The Power Take Off (PTO) needs to be converted to a wet system, about $600. Other then these big items, look for the usual. When was it last maintained? Oil, Radiator fluid, Trans Fluid, Hydraulic fluid, batteries, etc. This may all seem daunting, but the more you investigate, the more you can negotiate for a better price.
We love and enjoy our coach, it's not perfect, nothing is. IMHO CC is better than most.
