OTR a/c upgrade/fix

I have replaced the radiator, hoses (heater, radiator and hydraulic), hydraulic fluid, transmission fluid, oil fluid and coolant, now moving on to the a/c. It appears that the OTR a/c has never worker well even when new. I believe there is a design flaw that does not create enough air though the condenser caused by the thermostatic radiator fan control. Later coaches used electric fan control to help with the air movement. It seems simplest to use electric fans on the a/c condenser to come on when the a/c is on, did CC ever do this? Are there any schematics that might be of help? What do you think? Planning on replacing the condenser, compressor, dryer and O rings all around what else to get the same ice cold a/c my car gives in this South Texas heat. Any advice appreciated and thanks to the many people who post their questions and solutions on this and other forums, without your help and advice I would never be able to tackle some of the maintenance required on an older coach.

I'll throw this at you. The problem maybe as simple as an undersized orifice in the expansion valve. Had to replace the valve assemble on the front under dash unit and all I could get was a lager orifice. Seems to make it work much better. Other problem is all these systems seem to have a loss of gas over time. As for the electric fans, that is what our 97' Magna uses. Located on the right rear of the coach. But do not think the very best OTR system will every make much of a dent in a hot area. To much inside space. Would expect to always have to run roof air and gen in Texas summer heat, from what I have seen.
