Water auto-fill stop

Yahoo Message Number: 5309
I've heard other CC owners talk about how they fill their water tank and the water auto-fill stop feature. I guess they just hit a button somewhere and the system automatically fills their water tank then shuts off when the full light turns on. I have a new 2003 Intrigue, but it does not have this feature (as far as I can tell). I just have a yellow valve handle to turn to fill with fresh water. Am I missing something?

After the auto fill stops, start filling manually by removing the cap next to where you auto fill.

Robert, I did not have an auto fill feature until I bought a Magna.
My Ingrigue did not have it. Don't worry about it. It's not worth the hundred grand, lol. jerry in NM, '00 Magna.

Hi Jerry

Agreed - an automatic water fill is NOT worth a hundred grand. I wouldn't even care to have one. However, as a 2002 Intrigue owner (who changed from a 40' HR Imperial (single slide) to a 36' Intrigue (double slide) I'd really like to know - was it the right decision to change from an Intrigue to a Magna for other reasons. We're thinking. Sort of.....

Tom, I don't think there is a right or wrong decision when it comes to Motorhomes. It all depends on how bad you want one and how much money you have. I can't make any economic sense out of them. I just know that they give me a lot of pleasure. I love to travel in them; getting there is most of the fun.

I owned a new '98 Allure when my home burned. I bought a new '99 Intrugue and moved in full time. I then decided that I needed a Magna so I bought one. I still haven't done anything with my burned out home. One of these days I'll get too old to drive these twenty ton rigs. When that time comes, I guess I'll take the insurance money, fix up the old home and move back in. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. jerry in NM, '00 Magna.
